This is a little gem of a place. If you're looking for calm away from busy life this is the place. We loved that it was remote and so peaceful. The view is just magnificent. If you're jetlagged like us or can't sleep, step outside and admire the starry sky. No light pollution means you'll see stars like you've never seen before. Come prepared with food, the nearest supermarket is in Russell 30 mins away. There is lots to do from Russell to explore the area. Then you can come back to that lovely little house on top of the hill and enjoy the calm again or walk down to the beach and explore the local tracks. Ursula and her partner were lovely and gave us good advice. If we could give more stars we would."
